Statement of Faith

  • We believe in the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith
  • We believe in the Genesis account of creation and it is to be accepted literally, scientifically, and historically accurate.
  • We believe the King James Bible (AV) is the most faithful and accurate God's Holy word. It is the preserved word of God without any error according to Psalms 12:7.
  • We believe there is only one, living and true God.
  • We believe God is a trinity, which consists of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and God the Son.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ was supernaturally begotten of the Holy Ghost to become a man; born of a virgin; lived on this earth, died on the cross of Calvary, and rose again the third day.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ rose bodily, physically and literally from the grave; that after forty days He ascended to the right hand of God, where He is today interceding for the saints.
  • We believe the gospel of Jesus Christ is "...that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" 1 Cor. 15:3-4
  • We believe all mankind are sinners as a result of the voluntary transgression of Adam.
  • We believe eternal life is the free gift of God to "whosoever will" through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ — PLUS NOTHING. Ephesians 2:8,9
  • We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only way of salvation. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6
  • We believe in a place called hell — exactly as the Bible describes it. A place of fire, brimestone, torments and eternal. We believe anyone that dies without trusting Jesus Christ will spend eternity in hell.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ will one day return to earth, bodily, personally, and visibly, to judge all of the people.
